Days 01 :
SATURDAY:
KATHMANDU - PARO
Flight by DRUK Air from Kathmandu to Paro. After
arrive transfer to sightseeing of RINGPONG DZONG. |
Days 02 :
SUNDAY:
PARO
Sight seeing – visit DRUKGYAL, TA, TAKTSANG DZONG,
NATIONAL MUSEUM and PARO TOWN. |
Days 03 :
MONDAY:
PARO - THIMPU
Hike to TIGERS MONASTERY and transfer to Thimpu in
the evening. Two hours drive. |
Days 04 :
TUESDAY:
THIMPU
Sight seeing in Thimpu. Visit NATIONAL MEMORIAL
CHORTEN, NATIONAL LIBERARY. After lunch hike to
TANGO MONASTERY. |
Days 05 :
WEDNESDAY:
THIMPU - WANGDUE
Transfer to Wangdue (3 hours drive) en route stop at
DOCHULA PASS (3150 mtr.) for tea & biscuits and
visit to TAKTSANG DZONG by horse. |
Days 06-07 :
THURSDAY and FRIDAY:
WANGDUE - PONAKHA - WANGDUE
Hike through the Ponakha valley. Visit
WANGDIPHRODRANG & PONAKHA DZONG and the FERTILITY
TEMPLE. Overnight in Ponakha and return to Wangdue
by the visit of GANGTEY DZONG. |
Days 08 :
SATURDAY:
WANGDUE - TONGSA
Visit of WANGDUE DZONG and drive further to Tongsa. |
Days 09 :
SUNDAY:
TONGSA - JAKAR
Visit of TONGSA DZONG and drive through the
beautiful Bumthang valley to Jakar. |
Days 10 :
MONDAY:
JAKAR/BUMTHANG
Hike through the BUMTHANG VALLEY and the visit of
WANGDUCHODING DZONG and SWISS FARM HOUSE along with
some monasteries. |
Days 11 :
TUESDAY:
JAKAR - MONGAR.
Drive through the Yangtse Valley. En route to Mongar
visit of PHRODRANG DZONG, URA VILLAGE and URA
LAKHANG and drive through THRUMSHINGLA PASS (the
highest pass in Bhutan) further to Mongar. |
Days 12 :
WEDNESDAY:
MONGAR - TASHIGANG
Drive to Tashigang and visit KHALING WEAVING CENTER. |
Days 13 :
THURSDAY:
TASHIGANG - TRASHI YANGTSE
Drive to Trashi Yangtse and visit on the way a
famous GOMA KORA MONASTERY. |
Days 14 :
FRIDAY:
TRASHI YANGTSE
Hike through the KULONG CHU WILDLIFE SANCTUARY and
to see flowers and animals, especially various of
birds. |
Days 15 :
SATURDAY:
TRASHI YANGTSE – PARO
Return to Paro and en route visit SEMTOKHA DZONG. |
Days 16 :
SUNDAY:
After the last overnight transfer to airport for
departure and fly back to Kathmandu by DRUK AIR. |
